ISACA Vancouver: PCI Compliance vs. Risk

This coming Tuesday, on December 15th, 2015 at ISACA Vancouver's December Education Session, Ryan Wilson will be teaching us and exploring the difference between PCI compliance and PCI risk Management.At this event, expect to learn about PCI Compliance, practical methods for risk qualification based on real breach data from 2015, strategy for minimizing risk through reduction of compliance effort and more lessons from Ryan's experience.

The event is located at Steamworks, 375 Water Street in Vancouver BC and all members, future members and students are welcome. It includes a 3 course catered lunch and the opportunity to learn about PCI Compliance from a pro.

Ryan is grounded in practical lessons from almost 10 years of PCI auditing, assurance, and consulting. Ryan is a BCom, CISA with over 15 years of experience delivering mission critical technology solutions to the healthcare, construction, insurance and banking industries including the 2010 Olympics, BC Hydro and Cirque Du Soleil. Having received his Certified Information Systems Auditor Designation, Ryan is responsible for the security, reliability and availability of Kubera’s transaction processing systems. He is also responsible for delivering technology, security and strategy consulting to clients in Canada, USA, UK and India.
